If eSIM is deleted from smartphone, eSIM needs to be made re-downloadable and there will be an additional fee of 1,500 JPY incur.

When should I order?: eSIMs can be processed automatically with every order, but there may be a short delay before you obtain the download link. If you do not obtain the link within the hour of your activation day please send us an email. If you would like to download the eSIM prior to arriving to Japan make sure to have the service start date be on the same day as the flight (Times are in JST/Japanese Standard Time please be cautious, download links will not be sent until the start of the service date in JST).
Can I cancel my reservation?: Unfortunately with eSIMs, everything will be automatic, so there can be no cancellations once the order is placed and the download email is sent there can be no more refunds. (if there are any errors with the orders we are more than happy to fix them). If the download email had not been sent (ie. cancellation was requested before the start date) we will be able to process a cancellation.
Why is there no optional add-on insurance policy?: As traveler’s insurance generally covers compensation fees, we believe an add-on insurance policy is not very beneficial to our customers. However, please check with your insurance agency/company beforehand to see if travel insurance is provided or not. If you need to file a report to your insurance provider (e.g. credit card company), then please let us know as we would be happy to provide any necessary documents to do so.
Is there a fair usage policy?: After exceeding 1GB/day, there will be a capping of 200kbps (128kbps if 7GB Plan) unlimited data which refreshes at 0:00 AM JST (Japanese Standard Time). No pay-per-use additional fees will apply.
How much usage can I get out of 1GB?: Please refer to this graph.
Can I top up my data usage?: Unfortunately, we do not provide top-up options with this plan.
Do extensions cost extra?: Extensions will not incur an extra fee for the extension, the customer will simply be charged the cost of the extra days. Note that extensions will need to be requested prior to the end of the initial requested service period.
