This is a list of some of the most popular cafes in Tokyo amongst the instagramming girls in Japan. Not only are the food and drinks delicious, the food/drinks and interior of the cafe are super photogenic!
1. Nicolai Bergmann
Nicolai Bergmann who is a famous florist from Denmark has opened up a flower market tea house type of cafe in the Omotesando area. He is known for his contemporary style of flower arrangement and has opened up a cafe right inside of his flower shop so that visitors can enjoy some tea, coffee and food while looking at his flower arrangements. The Nicolai Bergmann cafe offers simple lunches like salads and sandwiches along with soup. You can order lunch anytime from 10am to 3pm. After 3pm is afternoon tea time so no food is served during this time. The average cost for a lunch set which includes a sandwich, soup salad with coffee or tea costs around 1,500 yen. This cafe is open everyday from 10am until 8pm.
2. Cookie Time
Cookie time is a famous New Zealand cookie brand that opened it’s first international cookie bar/cafe in Tokyo. There are an assortment of cookies that you can choose from and they also have different shakes and even cookie ice cream sandwiches! The store is super colorful and has a whole bunch of originals goods that you can purchase as well.
3. The Alley Cafe
The Alley, which is a a Taiwanese bubble tea shop, opened their first shop in Shinjuku. After it became super popular they decided to expand and make a The Alley cafe in Omotesando. Their first shop in Shinjuku actually does not have any seats but their omotesando store is an actual cafe and is pretty big as well. Their milk tea bubble tea and aurora drinks are most popular as they are both very instagram worthy. They have a bunch of different types of milk tea that have a very unique mixture.
4. Cinnamons
Cinnamons is a Hawaiian cafe that has delicious pancakes and Hawaiian food. Although they have regular Hawaiian food they are most famously known for their many different flavored pancakes. It is not only beautiful to look at it is also very delicious.
5. Eddy’s Ice Cream
Eddy’s ice cream is an ice cream shop in Omotesando that has become most famously know for their super cute toppings that you can add on top of your chosen ice cream. Because of the cuteness it has become a must-go spot to take a picture for the gram! Even the interior is super cute and has a few spots specifically made for the purpose of snapping some cool shots. Coisof is open everyday from 11am to 7pm!
6. Q-Pot cafe
This is another cafe that is hyped up because of their very kawaii interior and because of the cute and delicious sweets that they serve. So it is the perfect place for you and your girlfriends to go for an afternoon tea and to get some good shots for your instagram. They have an assortment of cakes and also have very pretty macaroons. As it is Winter time now they even have a gingerbread man cookie balance on the side of the coffee cup. Q-pot cafe is open everyday from 11:30 am to 7pm
7. Anywhere door
Anywhere door is most well known for their shot of espresso that comes in a chocolate coated waffle cone. Although this is their most popular order they also have a bunch of other instagramable including a very cute cotton candy, macaroons decorated with Japanese designs and something called Volcano drinks.

Anniversaire cafe is a cafe that opened in 1998 and still continues to thrive. It is on the main street of Omotesando where all of the fancy high end shops are located. It is a very Parisian looking style which is very popular amongst Japanese people. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and a delicious assortments of pastries. Many of the foods on the menu are Italian/French style. Beside the cafe is Anniversaire’s church where if you’re lucky you get to see a wedding taking place. They are open from 11 am to 11pm everyday so you can enjoy either during the day time or at night as well. Either way the place looks spectacular and is a great spot for fancy pictures to be taken.
9. Cafe kitsune
Cafe Kitsune is a cafe that has incorporated the style of modern Design and Japanese style. The cafe interior and exterior are absolutely beautiful. If you are out on the look out for a cool coffee shop then Cafe Kitsune is a great location for you.

Serendipity 3 is a famous cafe from New York that first opened in 1954. A coffee house boutique soon became super famous for being a cafe with beautiful interior. Because of it’s popularity the owners soon learned how to cook different dishes and came up with their frozen hot chocolate. Their frozen hot chocolate is what they are most famous for. Serendipity 3 has been in famous movies and tv shows including the famous Sex and the City TV series. Now Serendipity has opened up a cafe right in the heart of Harajuku.

Honey mi honey is a cafe store inside of a cafe. It is popular for it’s cute pink interior. They have beautiful pink sofas and delicious shakes, desserts, coffee and tea. It’s very popular amongst instagram lovers in Tokyo.
12. Magnolia Bakery
Another popular shop from New York has become very popular in Tokyo as well. Magnolia Bakery, for those who don’t know, are most famous for their cupcakes. And just like Serendipity 3, mentioned above, it was featured in famous movies and tv shows like Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada. Even though Magnolia Bakery has been open in Tokyo for a couple years now, it still continues to be a very popular place for those to take pictures.
